How to Play "Stir It Up" on Banjo

Bob Marley's "Stir It Up" brings a laid-back reggae groove that's a refreshing change of pace on banjo. The relaxed tempo and spacious feel give you room to focus on tone and pocket rather than speed.

It's a great tune for learning to sit behind the beat and let the groove breathe — a skill that makes everything else you play feel more relaxed and musical.

Our Bluegrass Pop Songs course shows you how to bring that island feel to a five-string.
